We never see your images
This policy is short because there is little to say: the site has no server-side processing and no accounts.
Your files
Every tool on myownpic.com runs inside your browser. Files you choose are read from your device, processed in memory and offered back as a download. They are never uploaded, transmitted, stored or logged. The metadata report on the remove metadata tool is also generated locally.
What the site collects
Nothing personal. myownpic does not use accounts, sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. The web host that serves the pages may keep standard, anonymous server logs, such as the time of a request and the page requested, as every website host does.
Third-party downloads
The background remover downloads its AI runtime from jsDelivr and the model from Hugging Face the first time you use it. Those services see a normal file download request from your browser, never your photos. Every other tool loads only from myownpic.com.
Local storage
The site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage, and the browser caches the AI model so it is not downloaded twice. Both can be cleared through your browser settings and never leave your device.
